“Rachel and Joe asked me to write a short testimony about my experience with Chi Alpha. I first met them about 3 months ago. They welcomed me into the ‘family’ and have been like parents to me. I must admit that I initially hung out with them because I simply wanted some free food, but after a while I discovered I was being ‘fed’ in other ways.

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time with them over the past few weeks. In fact they let me tag along while they met freshmen at UVM’s orientation sessions in June, and they even took me to Missouri this past month for a Campus Ministry Pioneering Bootcamp. It was an exciting trip. We dreamed about the future of Chi Alpha in Vermont, and we strategized for our launch on campus this fall. Following the conference they brought me along on a short trip to Louisiana and Florida to visit Rachel’s family.

Thank you for praying for and supporting Rachel and Joe. They’ve been teaching me that each of us is an important and vital member of the team. We all play a role in reaching this strategic mission field – the college campus!

Oh, I almost forgot. I’ll really join the family in December. That’s when I’ve been told I’ll be born. I can’t wait to meet you then!”
